The fixation strategy incorporated variable angle locking screws combined with cable, allowing stable fixation around the existing prosthesis (TKA)while preserving bone stock. This construct provided optimal angular stability and facilitated accurate fracture reduction in a complex periprosthetic setting.

 

Careful preoperative planning and intraoperative decision making were key to achieving satisfactory alignment and stable fixation.
